Sales Engineer
Esker is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team! This role serves as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with sales teams to deliver compelling software demonstrations that showcase Esker’s automation capabilities. By understanding customer pain points and aligning product solutions with business goals, you will play a key part in accelerating sales cycles and strengthening prospect engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Influence purchasing decisions by delivering tailored product demonstrations that address the specific automation challenges of prospective customers.
- Partner with sales representatives to build dynamic presentations and ensure technical discussions support revenue-generating opportunities.
- Optimize and refine demonstration approaches by iterating on messaging, improving technical configurations, and incorporating sales team feedback.
- Promote Esker’s value-driven solutions by highlighting automation benefits that align with customers’ long-term business objectives.
- Take ownership of technical execution within the pre-sales process, ensuring prospects receive clear, relevant insights that drive confidence in Esker’s solutions.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or a related role.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging technical and executive stakeholders.
- Understanding of ERP systems and SaaS technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel 2–3 times per quarter for customer engagements.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience designing and delivering product demonstrations for enterprise software solutions.
- Familiarity with consultative sales strategies focused on long-term business value.
- Understanding of cloud-based automation and SaaS models.
Salary Range: $80,000-105,000 + Commission
